We are sad to let you all know that yesterday our beautiful Miles’ body was found. Thank you so much for all of your love. We are devastated but also at peace knowing that he is not lost anymore. I will write more when I can, thank you so much for all of your help and all of your support. This community is incredible!

My deepest condolences to all family and friends of Miles, of the tireless volunteers and to the anguish felt as we have all searched the island. Last night near Hague Lake I was out walking and was passed by the RCMP, an ambulance and the truck of one family member. I thought oh, that is Miles, finally found. An entire month, a circle from when I last saw him alive to honouring his passing. So very sad. May finding Miles bring closure and allow you to fully grieve.
